My passion for patches ignited at the 2021 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The exhilaration of discovering rare, elusive designs paired with the nostalgic charm of each piece inspired me to create my own. Jumbo Smooth Designs is my way of sharing that excitement with the world, one patch at a time. The patches in the “Exclusives” category are genuine, original creations from Jumbo Smooth. Some have been proudly distributed at SHOT Shows, while others have reached collectors through online platforms. Yet, each one originated here, crafted from the spark of imagination that fuels Jumbo Smooth.
Why “Jumbo Smooth”? About a decade ago, a box of large, untextured paper clips on my desk caught my eye. The label read, “Jumbo Smooth Paper Clips.” With a laugh, I claimed it as my high school nickname. The joke took root—and the name stuck.
